On Friday 13th of January we are trying out a new speed table.We are doing an muddeld 12 by 12 it’s going to be hard.Me and Callum are very worried about it.When we try it’s going to be quite hard for us because it’s are first time doing it.
It was a wet Monday morning, and all of year 4 went on a trip to Lincoln castle. Once we got on the bus, me and Morgan-lea played I spy and then we finally got to Lincoln castle . when we arrived we met 3 people called Jen, Lisa and Chris. Mrs law’s group went with Jen, lisa,chris

On Monday 9th January Year 4 went to Lincoln Castle! The first thing we done was being an archaeologist and digging for Roman objects.
On Monday, the 9th january, we went to Lincoln Castle because we were learning about the Romans. When we got onto the bus some of us found it boring but some of us played games.
When we got there we all got into groups. In the castle, me and Milo went into the wrong group! Thenwe got put into Mrs Dowdings group .
On Monday the 9th of January 2017 we went on a trip to Lincoln Castle to learn about the Romans.We went to get on the bus and we started heading off.In the bus i sat next to Royston and Cody Wells.When we got there at the gate we met three people there names were called Jen Lisa and Chris.We went into Lincoln castle and my first activtie was archeology and we had to dig and i found a siveve each we had crates and got into groups of 3 o.r 4.Our next activtie was the wall walk with Lisa it felt like i was going to fall down. Outside it was really cold.when we got outside Lisa showed us some pitures about the Romans.we made sheilds
On Monday the 9 of January 2017 yr4 went to Lincoln Castle.On the bus we were all very loud and noisy.On the way to Lincoln Castle we were playing games and we were all in partners and my partner was George Maxwell.When we were on the rusty, old bus me and my partner played rock,paper,scissors,21 dares,i spy and told each other jokes. Finally we got there and Mrs Dowding sorted us into three different groups.First me and my friend George Maxwell went with Chris who made shields[scutum] with us.
On Monday the 9th January 2017 Year 4 went to Lincoln Castle. We went there to learn about Romans because we where learning about Romans at school and we wanted to learn more about them. We split up in 3 groups because there was 3 activities. The 3 people called Lisa ,Chris and Jen. They all had different activities to coach .Lisa did the wall walk and marching, Chris did shield making and Jen was teaching us how to be archaeologists. The first thing my group did was the activities with Lisa.
On Monday the 9th of January Antares and Leo went to Lincoln Castle .It was next to the ginormous cathedral There was three groups and we all split up to do different activities all led by a coach there were 3 coaches Lisa, Chris and Jen. We all had a blast and we even climbed the castle walls while Lisa was there teaching us what it would have looked like before it was a massive castle. She also showed us pictures of what it would have looked like it was tiny! she also led us to the female prison to teach us to march. Us and Chris made some scootems (Latin for shield) we had to make sure we had eagle wings on our scootems to terrify our foes. Next we worked with Jen she taught us archaeology she gave us tubs of dirt and soil and some spades we then dug up some real Roman artefacts and sketched what we found. After that it was the end of the trip and we whizzed away in the bus. my favourite bit was the archaeologist part because I love sketching and digging!

On Monday Y4 went to the wonderful Lincoln Castle. At Lincoln we were separated into three groups either Mr.Lord,Mrs.Dowding and Miss Law each group had a go at doing three different activities. The three different activities were Roman marching,Shield making and archeology digging. The helpers were called Chris,Lisa and Jen they helped us learn about the Romans. With Chris we did shield making which was fun because we designed are own eagle shields.
With Jen we did archeology digging do find Roman objects. When we finished we made our own mueseam once we had done that we went to a real museasm which had an antler comb.
Next we did Roman marching with Lisa but first we had to climb a spiral stair case with slippery banisters. Then we walked on top of the castle it had creaky wooden paths. Not all of it was wooden most of it was stone. Lisa taught us some new Roman words. Then we had to walk down a dark passage way the only light was coming from outside. Then we walked back into the old stone castle. We all walked down into a Victorian prison so we had space to practise our marching. Instead of saying left right they said sin dex.
We got to wear helmet which were called galea hold a sword what was called gladius.
