A Review Of Time Lord

Come and see the tremendous year fours and year threes play Time Lord. This spectacular show is at the epic school Long Sutton Primary School. Look out for the fabulous Time Lord Emit and his assistant Clara they are sure to be time travelling when you see them.

My favourite actor is Clara because shes loud and certainly knows all her lines shes got an outstanding costume its bright colourful your sure to spot her. My favourite scene is the marvelous scene when the kids are stripping the wallpaper and Emit and Clara appear out of nowhere! I like this scene because its magical when Emit and Clara appear.

Also come and check out there adventurous acting and there superb singing but i just loved the dancing to every song it couldn’t have been better for year four and year three it was outstanding. All i can say about the outfits is mind blowing they were bright and colourful also fantastic face painting it really stood out and gave the play a wonderful shine . What else really stood out was the props that was made by children they were very neat and carefully decorated. There was a lot made.

I would give this fabulous play a rating of FIVE stars as it had beautiful songs and nearly every child knew exactly what they was saying and they knew the songs and the dances and there lines so well and performed just as well as i would. I would definitely recommend it to some people because it was absolutely outstanding. I loved it!

Our Trip To Lincoln Castle

On the 9th January 2017 year 4 went to Lincoln Castle to learn about the Romans. Everyone got into partners I went with Lexi then we all lined up. Next we all got on to the bus. It was a very long journey and it was very boring me and Lexi played lots of games though. Soon we arrived at Lincoln Castle and we walked to the entrance we got into our groups and went inside. First of all we went with our leader Chris and all of our group made shields we had red paper and yellow paper and a wing template to make all the decorations to go on. Then once everyone had finished Chris showed us some of the Roman armour so helmet was galea and sword is gladius shield is scutum armour is lorica segmentata and sandals was calligae. Then we all went to another room and Jen showed us how to do an archaeology dig. We all had a tool to dig with and a space to dig in I found a funnel. Once we had done that we all got a clipboard and sketched our objects and then we labelled them. Then everybody went and found there label to match there object and display it. After that we went to another room and looked at some real Roman objects. Everybody went and got there lunch boxes and we had lunch. Next we went and did a wall walk with Lisa she showed us all lots of different pictures to do with the Romans. Then we all walked down a dark stairway to the entrance. We walked to a room and pretended to do a battle some people were Celts and some people were Romans I was a Roman. Then we went to get all of our things and lined up in our groups and our pairs. We all got on the bus and went back to school. Then everybody went to the centre of the entrance. We all went to find our mums and dads and then went home.

Jane Goodall

In English we are learning about Jane Goodall she is a famous scientist. She is famous for interacting with chimpanzees and studying them. She loved chimpanzees all of her life that’s why she went to study them. The problem was though is that she had to travel all the way to Africa to be with the chimpanzees. Jane has lived in the jungle for a long time but she had to work really hard to get near the chimpanzees. She even discovered nature and society. A man called Louis Leakey offered Jane a job in the jungle.
