A Review of Time Lord

At the spectacular Long Sutton Primary School I went to see a production called Time Lord. It was recommended to me by my friend and after he told me about it I was so excited to see it. The amazing story is about time travel! Four kids meet a time lord and his  friend and they go on an adventure through time. They first meet some evacuees from world war two, then they meet Florence Nightingale, and Boudicca and Beethoven and some Dinopods that want to take over the world. On the way the eight children get items to help try to save the world.

Personally  my favourite character is Sam because he is funny and the person that plays him is a great  actor. He is a boy from the 21st century and my favourite scene is the last scene because it is the battle scene between the Dinopods and Sam and to find out who wins you have to come and see it.

The costumes are amazing and the props are great. My favourite costume is Beethoven’s costume because it is cool and the wig is epic! The acting is  outstanding because some of the children have to learn hundreds of lines and I’m not exaggerating . The songs are awesome although it could have been a bit louder and there were also dances!

I would give this play five stars and I would recommend it to everyone so everyone come and see it! I’ve had a great time watch it and I hope you will to.

1PM

Immediately, the hard ground began to shiver and shake. The dogs began to whine in fear. The birds began to fly. And the people began to scream. And the tiles began to shake.

3PM

Slowly, the pretty un was submerged in hot, thick, ebony ash. Gently, the dark ash fell like dark  grey snow.

Squash with Colin

On Tuesday the 17th of January year 4 learned  how to play squash. The man that did it with us was called Colin.First he taught us to hit the ball against the net.We learned forehand and backhand. To learn the forehand we played a little game. There were three lines in front  of the net.We stood in front of the net in between the first and second line, dropped the ball and hit it. If it bounced in front of the first line it was 2 points and if it landed in front of the second line it was worth 4 points and finally if it landed in front of the third line it was worth 6 points. After that we played a real game of squash. It was very fun and in my opinion forehand was easier.

Year 4s Roman Trip to Lincoln Castle

On Monday the 9th of January year 4 went on a trip to Lincoln Castle. We went because we wanted to learn about Romans and we had already learnt about stone age, bronze age and Iron age. At Lincoln Castle we were split into three groups with three people that worked there. There were also three activities. The first activity was walking on the wall with a lady called Lisa. The second activity was making shields with a man called Chris. On the shield we could make an eagle on it .And the last activity was archaeology with a lady called Jen. and archeology was my favourite activity. In the last activity which was archaeology we got into groups of four. In my group of four  there was me , Kobi, Dan and Kaden. In our groupes  we had a crate filled with soil and was split into four sections and each of us had an artefact to find. Two of the artifacts were 2000 years old and two were replicas. We had a digging tool to find the artefacts in the soil.there were lots of artifacts. After the archaeology we went down into the artefact display to look at things archeologists had found. After that we started collecting our bags and coats to go home. The day was so fun and I’d love to go again one day. On the way back it took quite a while.

Year 4 assessment writing Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

In year 4 we have done some assessment writing. The first thing we had to do was to watch the trailer of Fantastic beasts and where to find them. Our next step was to create our own fantastic beast! Daniel’s beast was called Grainiac he could use his psychic powers to through other objects and people. It had rocks floating behind. My beast was called the blade snake. It was covered in razor blades. It could camouflage really well. It could also shrink and grow. It can change color and it is very vicious. It had no feet so it flew about but it didn’t have wings.  Daniel and Theo
