As you have heard some yr 5 pupils have gone to Hilltop. 16 of us have stayed in school. Today the people who havent gone to Hilltop are going swimming and bowling.

Today we have been writing  about fantastic Mr Fox  and roman numerals in Gemini and things about putting things in the bin and when we was doing  Fantastic Mr Fox  we did about stealing the chickens and about keeping them and whats good about stealing the hens.

These two past weeks we have been making mountain models out of newspaper and plain A3 or A4  paper  and soon we will be painting them so  they look very realistic.With the paper we keep on going over the top of the newspaper to build up our mountains.

Tomorrow some of year 5 are going to hilltop and some aren’t. Also we carried on with our mountains yesterday.Also the people who are doing the 11+ had practiste tests on Verbal and NonVerbal. We had a certain time to do each test.

We are really excited about  going to hilltop but it is unfortunate that Mrs Charlesworth can not come. Before we get to Hilltop we go to Sandringham so that we get some of our hyperness out of us so we don’t annoy our teachers and staff at Hilltop will be unhappy and wont let us go on a activity.

Tomorrow quite a lot of year 5 are going to hilltop for the weekend  but before we are going to Sandrigham as it is a long way to go. At hilltop there are lots of activities to participate in like the zipwire and also even an obstacle course in the air! At night there are a lot of other things to do like a games room with game to play just like table tennis and more fun ideas to do.

On Friday we did not do verbal reasoning.  Instead we done maths and english and in english we did Mr Fox. In english we also did a hen house so that foxes can’t get the hens.

Tomorrow we are going Hilltop  with year 5 . We go to hilltop  so we can do good stuff.
