8 AM

On the 24th August 79 AD, Pompeii was starting a normal day.The happy dogs were cheerfully barking.The beautiful birds were singing silently.

3 PM

Later, the busy city of Pompeii was covered in darkness by the dark volcano’s grey smoke.The smoke stopped the scared citizens from breathing.

In the blink of an eye,the burning ash bellowed to wards the destroy city.

Once it was over,it came to silence .Pompeii was under settled ash and molten rock  buried the city.

Without warning, thick, black smoke came bellowing out of the burning volcano.

Barely alive, the huge city of Pompeii burnt in flames of orange fire.

8am

Above the clouds, the bright sun shone as brightly as a twinkling star and the jet black birds tweeted happily and the playful dogs barked.

3pm

Soon, the broken houses were empty and bare. The terrified people tried to escape.

Unexpectedly without a warning,burning hot rocks fell from the high sky hundreds of meters in the air,and hit the wrecked houses causing them to set on fire.

Like a dragon breathing fire, the tall volcano had revenge…. it struck again!!!  

On Monday the 9 of January we went to Lincoln castle because we are learning about the Romans when we got their we walked to the castle.

In year 4 we are learning about Gauls and we watch a film about Gauls aswell. The film was fun and it was Asterix and Obelix journy and they took with them a piece of the magical posion.Julius caeser came to fight with the Gauls but the Gauls won against the rotten

Every day we do fractions and I was on the year 4 table for a little while it was very hard  work but I enjoied  it a lots beeing on the year 4 table whith my friends  and fraction are not so  bad

On Tuesdays year four play squash with our coach called Colin he teaches us lots of cool things.We play games at the end its called squickit  it is really fun. We have teams one team is fielding and the other team are batting.We use a net to hit the ball against we have to run and if we miss it thats how many runs you get for the team we add up the scores as well. Then we swap over the fielders have to try and catch the ball so then they they do not get a point so they will have less points for there team.Which team gets the most points win the game. then we say what we have learnt and we have learnt, for hand and back hand they are very easy moves to learn that is the easyest step first.Mercedes and natalie rose

Monday the 14th of January 2017 year 4 went to linlcon castle to learn about the Romans are first activity was making a Roman shield made out of paper after that we deighed things to go on are shields. The man that took us was called Chris and at the end of the first activity we wore some Roman armor.

The second activity.                                                                                                                   The second activity was field arciolagy I fount a oil pot the Romans pored oil into an oil lamp and set fire to a rope in side the lamp. My brother fount horse teeth and other people fount a lot of intreasting things. After that, we went down stairs and protended to be a Roman but some were Kelts. And then we had lunch.

The last activity was climing a spiral tower and I loved it because it was there in acent time.
