We have learnt about  Roald Dahl  and making notes about his books.

Recently,we have been learning about his books and what he does to make people read his books so Mrs Charlesworth read 5 books and we noted the setting, characters and  what it’s all about. We read The witches, Magic finger, The twits, Georges marvellous medicine and Esio trot. I learnt that Roald Dahl likes his fictional characters( made up ones) also we had learnt that he didn’t always use settings but might do a brief one.

In RE ,Triangulum ,we have been learning about recycling stuff like: paper,plastic bottle.Also,we made posters for recycling.We got paper so we can trace pictures like the recycling logos.

We have been writing notes down about the books Roald Dahl has written. Most of the stories are set in farms some are set in towns. There’s a story about a selfish grandma who makes his grandson do every thing for her.

This week in D.T year 5 have been doing mountain models.Beacause most of us have finished our models we got to paint them.The colour orders were white,grey,light green,dark green and then light green again.
