In pshe we have been learning about drugs.Different types of drugs like bad drugs and good drugs

In RE we have been decorating white paper plates into puja trays.

On the paper plates we have made Hindu things that would be on the puja trays.

In pshe we have been learning about being safe and not judging how or what people look like.To do this we have been doing story boards and trying to guess what peoples jobs are by looking at pictures and in the end we realised that anyone can be anything.

On Tuesday 9th May 2016, we had to draw a peculiar picture. One by one, we went outside to look at the picture on the whiteboard and the person who went outside had to describe the picture to the person drawing. It had twenty different shapes to memorize and describe to the others. There were six maximum in a group.

Today we have been learning about how not to talk to strangers in P.S.H.E and what we would do if a stranger talks to us or gives us anything.

From Monday to Thursday year 5s were in the studio for the morning because the year sixes were doing sats 🙁

We have learnt three poems by Pie Corbett.

The three different types of poems were called:

The Playground Monster,When i heard the music and The kiss. We tried to find all of the rhymes. We also tried to count all of the syllables on each line and find the pattern on each one of the poems.

1. In science we have been learning about human life cycles.So the beginning of a baby is made from a male and a female .

2.    Then the baby is inside the womb.This is called  a foetus.

3.Then the baby is born .

4. Then the toddler grows into childhood.

5.Then the human hits pubity.

6.Also,the teenager goes into adulthood.

Adults have babies.

7.Then the human dies when it gets old!!!

In English we were reading poems writen by Pie Corbet and there was a funny one called the kiss and it tells you that kissing is bad for your health and it makes you understand that you need to be older to kiss people even if it is in a Guiness world record book .

Dont kiss people no matter what and dont do rude records.
